Segmentacja rynku w sektorze turystyki na przykładzie wybranych aspektów ofert dedykowanych studentom i seniorom
Streszczenie
Celem niniejszego artykułu było ukazanie złożoności i znaczenia procesu segmentacji rynkowej w sektorze
turystyki na przykładzie ofert dedykowanych określonym grupom społecznym (studentom i seniorom),
nazywanych w opracowaniu ofertami „dedykowanymi”.
studentów i seniorów. Przedstawiono wyniki badań empirycznych - autorskiego kwestionariusza ankietowego
przeprowadzonego wśród studentów (n=50) i seniorów (n=50) korzystających z ofert „dedykowanych”.
W badaniach zastosowano metodę analizy porównawczej - zestawiono wyniki obu grup respondentów. Badania
obsługi (opieki pilota i systemu rezerwacji).
The main aim of this paper is to show the complexity and significance of the market segmentation process in the
tourist trade on the example of offers dedicated to specific social groups (students and seniors). An additional
aim was to identify the elements that have the greatest impact on the selection of a dedicated tourist offer among
students and seniors. The considerations were divided into two parts. The first one is based on the analysis of the
source literature and contains mainly the explanation of the concepts contained in the title. In the second part
of the study, theoretical considerations were illustrated by an example - reference was made to specific groups
of tourist offers’ customers - students and seniors. There where presented the results of empirical research - an
original questionnaire which was conducted among students (n = 50) and seniors (n = 50) using "dedicated"
offers. The research used the method of comparative analysis - the results of both groups of respondents were
compared. The research showed differences in significance assessments of the offers’ components among both
groups. The greatest differences appeared in the area of quality of services (accommodation, alimentation
and transport issues) and quality of service (guide care and reservation system). The ratings of students and
seniors turned out to be similar when analyzing the elements of the offer related to emotional aspects.
The possibility of meeting new people and being among a group of peers was assessed at a similar level.
Moreover, as shown by the results of the conducted research, an important aspect affecting the tourism sector is
its innovativeness, noticeable on the example of changes taking place in offers dedicated to specific social
groups, as well as health and event tourism.
