Reformatorskie wzorce elity w husyckich Czechach

Abstract
The reformist elite role-models in Hussite Bohemia It is widely known that the Hussite movement was based to some point on the egalitarian view of the society and Church. The more radical branches were naturally more interested in the evocation of the equality than the moderate followers of Jan Hus. But even the revolutionaries and radicals needed to achieve some goals which led them to outline the ideals of true Christians. They were not drawn apart from the tradition but rather reinterpreted in their own conditions. Thus, the Hussites established themselves on the ideal of a God’s warrior, the apostle’s follower and a martyr as three main attitudes. The three role models formed the image of elite of the Christian population, and as a consequence, of the Hussite movement. There was no full agreement on the interpretation of each of the models, and different reformers saw them sometimes in opposition to each other. The present article is aimed to present the role models as seen by the Hussites and some examples of the contemporary discussion about them.
